He has packed his owner into the Warner Mountains and was calm and strong on the trail. He follows well on a lead and comes when his name is called. His hair is thick and wooly. His owners are no longer using their llamas as pack animals, so would like to find a home where Chocolate and his buddy, Sammie, could still pack into the great outdoors.We were brushing the fox tails out of his neck when taking these pictures, so he would not put his ears up straight!! Adoption fee is $100. The HPHS supports spay/neutering of all pets. Adopt from us and your new pet is either already fixed or if too young, comes with a spay/neuter voucher honored by the local veterinarian office in Alturas. Discount spay/neuter vouchers are also available at the Second Chance Thrift Store.
